Parking Assist 2021

Have not seen anything recent on Parking Assist. Read much from the past that seems to indicate this system is worth having or fixing. Bought my Tacoma used, a 2019, about a month ago and the Assist worked fine for @3 weeks. Have been trying to get an answer from the dealer on whether its covered under warranty but they won’t answer unless I come in. Yes I turned it on and yes I get a warning notice that it is malfunctioning an need to take it to a dealer.

 

Check each side of the rear bumper where the sensors are. Could be dirty. Take hose and clean each sensor.
