I’m curious what is the average gas mileage is for you guys. Currently my 2021 Venture is stock, but I’m averaging 19.5 mpg which seems crazy. My commute is mostly back roads and highway. I’m getting g the same mpg as my 2017 Tacoma.

I thought I would be getting 16 or 17 mpg.

2016…total garbage. The last time I saw 19.5 was in my friends Corolla.

You need to use an app that calculates by distance traveled and gallons used. The ones on the dash are inaccurate…

Honestly I’m at 16…I’m lifted too so take it with a grain of salt. But even stock I was only getting around 17.5-9 . I guess if I was really concerned with MPG’s I wouldn’t have bought a 4Runner.

mine is a mix of driving conditions, I'm averaging about 17-18.5 regularly. I have calculated by hand mileage and the dash calculator is spot on. But I didn't buy a 4runner to save gas.........

19.5 mpg with 44 mph. 16 mpg with 75 mph. Remember, the speed is a big factor.

seems to be inline with my wife's 4runner, she's had as high as 21mpg when we did a long trip, that's all hand calculated as well.

40-50mph is the sweet spot for MPG.

This ^ I also noticed about 1 to 1.5 mpg drop when I have my yakima cross bars on

    '17 SR5 here.

I can average about 21-22 on back roads if I baby it. 20 is pretty easy on the highway if you aren't pushing that brick through the air at 80mph.

In city driving I'm usually around 16-17.

When I had stock size tires, I got anywhere from 16-21 MPG. 20+ is pretty easy if you keep the speed down a bit.

Now, I'm lifted, on 295/70/17 MT's, full armor, always hauling a few hundred pounds of gear, and a roof basket. I have gotten up to 19.9 at 55 MPH, and as little as 12 cruising at ~80 MPH.

I drive this slow when I'm not in a hurry. Sometimes it's nice to enjoy the scenery. And, it saves a ton of fuel.

    Wife’s 2020 SR5 Prem 4x2 averages 18.5 with her driving. I get 20-21 easily when I drive it.
