    Silly question but nothing is on your dashboard in the passenger front side? There is a sensor there for the light / dashboard, also as mentioned the brightness can be found in the settings menu, or the odometer knob also can change brightness (also mentioned) - if not I’d mention this to the dealership and ask about any TSB’s .. maybe take a video on your smart phone for proof (I know they can be dicks sometimes about issues) good luck !

    There is nothing on the dash board.

    I understand that there is an auto headlight sensor which I'd expect to also command the radio/center display.

    Is there a sensitivity adjustment for that?

    I am aware of the brightness knob on the dash.

    For now, as suggested, if I see these lights toggling on and off I will just take it as a sign to turn on my headlights.
