Hello Toyota world, happy to be here I’ve realized recently how far behind the curve I am on electronic fuel injection .I have a 04 pre-runner that’s in really good shape with about 130,000 miles on it and I recently purchased a 98 Tacoma four-wheel-drive but my daily driver is an 84 pick up that I mostly use, and it’s carbureted recently from factory carb to a weber the 98 I had to put in the shop because I couldn’t figure out its problems on my own, once I got it back and they told me what was wrong I could’ve easily fixed it myself a lot cheaper so now my mission is to learn all I can about fuel injection .
From what I’ve read so far on this form there seems to be a lot of knowledge out there I’m sure I’ll have a lot of questions maybe even some information on the older stuff,CE11182B-6250-4829-9554-329E2FD1D9E5.jpg great to be on board thanks.

The 84 had 36,000 miles on it when I got it it sat for 15 years on blocks the previous owner was going to have it hauled to the junkyard because he was moving out of state and never used it anyway I took it I got it running passed smog just fine but I didn’t think it would last too long since the motor was not turned over for so many years now it has 225,000 on it still runs great .
Thinking I should do a timing chain get another hundred thousand out of it.
