i’m a toyota tech and own a 23 tacoma with the 2.7L. we see 3rd gen tacos come in for general maintenance. mine has almost 45K on the same front pads and rotors and are still 8/32nds. back brakes are drums but can last over 130K

I replaced my pads and rotors in my 2017 TRD OR Access Cab at around 140000 klms. There was still lots of life in them but I had bought an entire HD brake package at a discount a few years before so decided to get the new gear installed by my local mechanic while in for an oil change.

don’t know. They last a long time. Usually I look at my brakes with my iPhone light for free instead of paying a dealership $230/hr to do that for me. Am not Jeff Bezos.

went with Pro ceramics. They probably last longer for minimal price. And less wear to the rotors. Less dust.

if I am running factory brakes which I am, they’re going to work the pads more and last less long than 4Runner BBK.

90,000 miles so far on a 2021. Looks like they will go 110,000 plus.

Obviously driving style and conditions impact the life, but I got 70k out of mine. I have never owned a vehicle that even came close to that.
