I can't believe this hasn't been talked about here before, so I'm going to just assume my search skills suck, sorry.

I'm looking to get another set of the Duratracs I currently have in 265/70r17 Load C. The issue, I can't find these anywhere. So, I called Goodyear and I'm not confident in their answer as she didn't really sound confident herself. However, they said the C load is being discontinued. A few of the stores I called said they were just out of stock. Just trying to check if anyone knows for sure.
    I can't imagine any reason why. If folks aren't getting E's, they'd be getting C's, I assume.

Ok, well, if this is indeed true, would anyone recommend the SL's vs the E's, ever? I don't really want the E rated tires as I don't crawl over anything on my way to the super market. I liked having the option of a C though just for that extra confidence.

    Thanks.

I have Toyo AT3s C rated in that size on mine. If your not set on Duratracs check them out.

Have had Duratracs and would take the new Toyo AT3s over them every day of the week!

I've had Duratracs in C load 265/75/16. They feel "floaty", are loud, decent in winter, and 2mpg loss. Not ideal for my particular usage.
I've had BFG KO2s in E load 265/75/16. Terrible in winter, ride rough as shit even aired down, and 3mpg loss due to weight. Was a fanboy for years, not anymore.
Currently have General Grabber ATX in C load 265/70/17. Hands down these suit my daily needs best. Quiet, smooth ride at 40psi, good MPG, and bulletproof in Wisconsin snow.

If I was looking for a more aggressive sidewall lugs I'd go for the Toyos like others mentioned, or maybe the Falkens though I hear they can have balancing issues.
