    Hey everyone,

I recently bought Walmart’s Cooper AT tire in 265/75r16 116t. Really nice so far, and for 108$ A tire I figure how do you go wrong?

I took my truck to the dealer to get it aligned, even though I thought they rode pretty straight as is, as I was afraid I’d ruin my new set of tires if I didn’t.

Long story short, driving the truck back home and on a few errands, it seems to tug towards the right and I think I need to bring it back for them to fix. I’ve attached the alignment sheet they gave me, could anyone spot anything I should bring up if possible as I don’t understand what the sheet is saying. Please also keep in mind the slightly bigger size from factory.

    Thanks in advance!! Happy Friday

I'm no alignment wizard, but it's most likely the caster causing a pull.

Caster will pull to the more negative side or, in your case, the side with the smaller angle. Doesn't really affect anything unless you have a side to side (cross-caster) difference of .5* or more. You were within this tolerance before they made an adjustment. The adjustment they made of over a degree negative on the right side made the cross-caster .7* on the right, coupled by possible road crown to the right, which will cause a pull to the right. This is a classic case of making all the meters "green" on the alignment sheet so a customer doesn't see "red" and thinks there is a problem. Understandable but really not the right way to do it. Either leave it alone and explain to the customer what I just explained or adjust both sides and putting the larger angle .5* or a little less (not equal to compensate for road crown)) on the passenger side. Of course, if they were to explain it they would actually have to understand alignment. I would have left it alone, especially since you weren't complaining of any problems. Take it back and ask them to put it back where it was on the right. It will put the camber back a little negative but that also follows the same rules as caster (cross-camber) but opposite where it will pull to the side with the more positive angle. Since it's still within the .5* cross-camber spec it's a non-issue.
