Out of curiosity, is there a history/log kept for each warning that is displayed on the screen in the vehicle? If so, is there specific software necessary to pull this info?

    Thanks,

    Brennan

As far as messages that pop up in the information center not that I'm aware of but if you get a warning light or service message for any major system (Engine, Transmission, ABS, Airbag, etc) it should store a trouble code in that system that will remain in memory for a number of drive cycles, you would need a scanner that is capable of reading codes from all systems on the vehicle if you wanted to check them though (most generic scanners will only read engine/transmission and maybe ABS and Airbag codes)

Your looking to pull every tripped code since the vehicle was born.

As far as i know no such system.

Don`t be giving them ideas another $10,000 on vehicle prices.

There all ready fighting to forbid the consumer to work on vehicles
