Took advantage of the same sale to pick up the DD SS3 SAE fogs. Had been sporting the OEM fogs with Lamin-X for a while, but the little bubbled areas on the edges were starting to drive me nuts. Have to say I should have gone with these from the start. With one installed and lit up, could barely tell the OEM was even turned on by comparison from the driver’s seat.

With both on, nice bright line right below the low beams.

Looking forward to seeing how they look after dark. Can’t imagine how bright the Pros must be.

I have been to Charleston for parties at The Windjammer.. that was in 90s. I used to go to Hilton head island for sailing and other activities.

I’m no longer in South Carolina but I plan to visit SC sometime.

4Runner SEMA wheels. TRD Factory lift kit.
I have the black version. Mounted at discount tire and they didn’t mention any issues. My dealer also had them off when doing the OEM lift. They didn’t mention any issues when putting them back on. I would think that if there were any issues with fit one of them would have caught it. I think I remember a post with fit issues with the newer 4Runner wheels. Would have to do some searching to verify.

Mine just arrived. Do you have any tips in aiming/adjusting the beam direction?

    Minor stuff.
Added the bed rail to the front of the bed and added a fishing rod holder. Had a little mishap two weeks ago. Kayak slipped off of its mounts. Pulled over to adjust it. Shut the tailgate on the top of my rod. Snapped it in two spots. Won’t have that problem anymore. My 10’ rod might be a hazard to low flying aircraft.

Small world. Spent many a night at the Windjammer back in the day. Good times. One of my best friends is in HH. Even more pricy now but a beautiful area.

I have two Tacoma's. A 2018 TRD Sport and a 2019 Limited. Today on both vehicles I applied Aquapel to the windshields and Rain-X to all other windows. I installed interior LED's, Backup LED's and Phillips H9's in the low beam positions. Also installed Michelin Endurance XT Silicone wiper blades on both vehicles. Sounds like less work than it really was but at my age just getting up to go get another beer is a lot of work.

Installed APS Truck Armor Side Steps today. I like the look of them but the mounting brackets for the passenger side seems to be warped and the step doesn't want to sit level. Drivers side looks right though. 20210710_172007.jpg

Thanks for the detailed response. Will most likely go DD to go with my SS3 fogs so will check on fit before ordering. Don’t mind spending more for function and fit, so sounds like Cali Raised is a good option. All too often people drop the cheapies from Amazon as a quick response.
