Is this while rolling or will it pop while stopped and you turn the wheel?

Had to sell my 17 Tacoma for a tow rig in order to pull my new home. Still here for a bit to keep in touch.
I never take much for pictures but here is what I got.

    We had a great time!

    Great run today!

    Screenshot_20210710-203029_Gaia GPS.jpg
    Screenshot_20210710-203118_Gaia GPS.jpg

Started off the day with a New York City Sub. @PinStripes, @Astr0Aar0n, and @Adobada Tacos ended up there grabbing food.

Met up with the most of the others at the meet up location.

Was an accident on I84 that kept a couple from making the meet up time. Group decided we would wait 30 mins past the time and make sure everyone could make the run.

It was a really dry day, resulting in a lot of dusty dirt blowing around. Wind would pick up and if your windows were open your truck was full of dusty air in moments.

We ran every most trail I know of out there. Not all of them are labeled. Headed up to Mt Defiance to check out the radio tower view. Lot of hikers up here, but we were the only vehicles. We hung out here for awhile, shot the shit, gave some water to people with dogs out in the sun. Good times.

    20210710_140049.jpg

After heading down from there we had trail 199 and 197 left. 197 is not a trail I recommend attempting without sliders (it has a bunch of tree stumps and rocks jutting out all over the place). Group passed on that one. We ended up running 199 (short trail). At this point most of the group headed out.

@plurpimpin and wanted to run 197 and so we pealed off and did it :mudding:

Had a great time, and it was awesome to meet those of you I hadn't met yet.

Huge shout out to those who made it out and made the day fucking awesome! :D:D:D:D

    1st and 2nd posts updated.

Looking forward to seeing you all next Saturday at the potluck.

If you haven't voted in the poll yet, and are planning on attending please do. If you voted maybe and you changed to a yes, please update your vote. Likely going shopping Thursday for the burgers and dogs. Would love to see a big turn out for this event! :D

Next wheeling meet up will be soon. Tentatively thinking Sunday August 1st, Browns camp OHV. I will firm this up and get back to you all on that ASAP. We're gonna get meet ups happening more often.

Good point. I forgot they closed it down recently. This is new, I don't remember it being closed completely with fire danger on high.

That's pretty lame. That is gonna mean it's closed all summer I imagine.

Will have to come up with another location. Open to ideas if ya got em anyone.

I don't think we've done a trip up to Tahuya ORV yet in Washington. It's about a 3 hour drive though from Portland. But it is a place I've been really wanting to hit up. Maybe a Fellowship campout weekend? I can bring LotR's and a projector!

I had a guy from Seattle tell me you don't go there if you like your paint. Said it was known that you would scratch the fuck out of your truck. I don't know how true that is, but it made me not want to go.

I have yet to hear that from anyone that I've known that's gone. Probably trail dependant and/or on when trail maintenence occurs.

That's good to hear. I will ponder this meet up idea. Overnight wheeling trips are very hard for me with my dogs, as they hate wheeling and cannot be left alone.

I think at this point I have found all 3 trails there. It's a fun place, but on the small side. I ran all the trails solo in just 2-3 hours last time I went up there. Not opposed to doing a run there. Thinking it would be a bit shorter than our normal runs though.

Thanks for the awesome time yesterday guys, and sorry I bailed a bit early. Between having the little guy, being heavily loaded with camping gear and the fact that I have an annoying creaking sound in the front end that I’m not sure about yet I felt it was a good idea to get off trail, especially since @C41n was saying the other trails were more difficult.

The father son camping trip was awesome and one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I love having a mini me to teach about the outdoors. We also accidentally found some pretty good, somewhat technical trails kind of on accident up there and had fun.

Also, shout out to @plurpimpin for being an awesome trail buddy and spotting me a few times!
