I want to access my truck bed that currently has a tri-fold tonneau cover and a low height RTT on top. I have seen a M-416 off road trailer that opens long ways from the side using a hinge on the other side with a RTT mounted on top. Is there a set up or a DIY way of doing that on my short bed? If so, would I tip up a solid tonneau cover with the rtt attached or would I put hinges on one side of the RTT mounts and tip that up to access the tonneau cover? Husband is concerned the side of the truck bed could not tolerate the sideways force of the weight. TIA
