On my 2013 Tacoma, radio screen is working just fine, but I have no sound from my speakers and no beeping when I touch the screen. On three different occasions it has come back on but only for a short period of time (usually until I turn off the truck) and then it goes back out.

any suggestions on what to do to fix this?

Pull the radio and check for loose connections on the back. Get out a cheap known working speaker and hook up to each speaker output on the back of the radio to confirm if it's a faulty radio output or speaker. Likely a failing HU. I would take a spare speaker from my kid's home stereo to do my testing.

2nd gen stock radios seem to have all sorts of weird issues. Mine would randomly turn off while driving. Worth checking connections in the back but you might need to replace it.
