Took a step back from things and re-evaluation. Not too much to talk about right now. But i feel better than i did many months ago.

Well, sorry for being nosey. I just feel that a epiphany and possible career moves or decisions always sound like a positive thing.

My daughter made me dinner tonight. Two grilled cheese sandwiches on very grainy whole wheat bread, with a sprinkle of garlic salt and stinky sock cheese on the outside. I had to return to the kitchen for some dipping ketchup.20210711_183252.jpg

Not nosey at all! And I think so as well. Weird as it is, woke up one day and just didn't want to waste every day away anymore. I mean I still work in the same job, but it's a means to an end right now

I bet many of us have been in that position before. Sounds like you have a plan going forward and that's all that matters. Don't get discouraged, just keep trying and good things are bound to come your way.
I myself have been at my job since July 2004 and I make a decent wage, but sometimes get a little discouraged about my prospects of advancing any farther. I keep an eye out and apply within my work and outside but in the meantime count my blessings.

Been seeing avacados posted lately I like them but think it's funny that I never tried one until I was in high school. My uncle was eating one straight out of the skin. He cut in half, popped the seed out and filled that hole with miracle whip. Haha, yum yum
Haven't had one in a year I bet

Ahhh, that is the big question. At first it was engineering, then econ/business, then automotive and now...back to business to finish that up. Looking at a career in corporate as either an analyst or a manager, especially at Home Depot where it would be good to see if I can make a difference for those that are in my current position where current management doesn't give a flying f*&k

At first they were talking surgery. 3 clean breaks all at my elbow. CT scan came back ok. So I go back in a couple days for a cast. They sent me home with just a sling.
