Found some really old alloy wheels for the truck. Been sitting for 10 plus years. You can see the rear has some shine the front and other side not so much.

Not looking for crazy results but qhats the best way to get a little life back to them. Just throw some polish on a drill attachment and go at it

Pretty much what I'd do. Once you have them clean and polished, you could hit them with some clear coat - even it was just from a spray can. Just make sure they are completely cleaned of all polishing compounds first.

In the past I've used Mothers Mag Wheel Polish on bare aluminum wheels with great results. It takes time and a lot of elbow grease, but if you have a smooth surface, you can get a mirror finish that looks like chrome.

I've always done it by hand with rags/towels, but you could probably use a Mothers Powerball in a drill. Just make sure you rinse it out often. The polish removes the oxidation on the surface of the wheel, so you have to keep whatever comes in contact with the wheels as clean as possible for best results.
