I just got rid of my diamondback and looking to replace it with a retractable cover. I was thinking of going with either TruckCoverUSA, RollnLock, or Retrax. I do also plan on putting a bedrack when I go camping with these covers.

Any thoughts on the covers + bedrack build? I like TruckCoverUSA and RollnLock more so because they have the rope that I can pull to close the cover and also heard TruckCoverUSA is pretty durable. The RollnLock looks like it takes less bed space when retracted. The Retrax is the only one I see though that a bedrack can be added.

Also any bedrack recommendations that are easy to put take on and off and are pretty durable? Was thinking CaliRaise since they're local to me but also want to explore other options.

I have a RetraxPro XR and the Yakima Adjustable HD setup.

The Retrax rolls in and out as smooth as butter and I love that I can lock it in place anywhere along the rail.
I would say the Yakima sidebars are important, mine didnt really feel as stable as I liked until adding the bars.

Not many options out there for a HD retractable bedcover and Bed rack combo.

Santana@Realtruck was real helpful when I got my Retrax.

Just curious what made you decide this. I have a DB and think it’s the cat meow. Have never thought about trading it for a retractable

Pretty much just needed the height all the time. I got 2 shepherds I take when I go off-roading, camping, or just out and about and I always have fold the cover in half or take the panels off. It was annoying when I had my gear under the half panel that was closed and needed to get it too. I loved the cover but it was just really inconvenient for me because of the height limitation lol at least with the retrax, I’m able to cover my bed when needed and I’m able to easily open it when I need the height lol
