Gotcha. Yeah my place is like that as well sadly. Plus lot of nepotism where I am.

There is a team of people next row over that I and others have complained about for years, loud obnoxious gabbing about non work stuff and one in particular always dropping the F bomb. As a "white" male (actually Native American but that's another story) I'm sure if I did that I'd get pulled into the office quick like a bunny.

You know...come to think of it, you could get a pretty close sack shave with a multiaxis CNC set up to cut a hemisphere...if you hold still.

I'll leave the crop clearing details a mystery for now, as for floor jacks I got tired of having to use so many 2x4s to lift my truck up so I went and spent too much on a giant (6 ton I think) Daytona floor jack from HF and besides the fact that I still have to put some wood on it sometimes (lol) it has been working great. I love the long handle.

So I just tripped the breaker in the kitchen again. The particular circuit has the refrigerator, microwave, counter outlet, and since it's summer an air conditioner. No biggie, I'm on vacation at the end of the month so I'll split the circuits up. Holy-o-fk 12/2 is $160 a roll. o_O Yea might not be doing that project...

Can you just run a new 15 amp cct for the 'fridge? NEC calls for that to be on a dedicated circuit anyway.

I use Feather blades for that extra element of danger. Agree on the DE being a closer shave (for face), but I guess would work for other stuff.

I'd split that circuit for a 15 Amp but I'm pretty sure in my area only lighting can be 15 amp. However since the house was built in '52 or '56 it's grandfathered into alot of old rules. The problem I have is breaker box room. A 15/20 split breaker is more expensive than a 15/15 or 20/20. The only other receptacle I need needs to be 20a. I seriously need a 200amp service upgrade...

If you're going to pull a permit and have this inspected, double check before hand, otherwise apply common sense. NEC only requires a 15 amp (dedicated) for the 'fridge. Counter outlets required dedicated 15 amp breakers, OR you can wire two on to a 20 amp breaker provided you can't reach the two that share the breaker at the same time (6' linear separation IIRC - don't quote me on that). Any new runs or modifications have to meet current code. Existing service is grandfathered. If it's just breaker space, why not add an 8-10 circuit sub?

Permits? Inspection? Uhh yea... about that...

Right now there's no room in the box for even a regular 120v circuit. I mean, there is one 240v spot left, but I was saving that for the garage if I stay here. I have too far of a commute to work as it stands. Unfortunately this year was a dumpster fire for the housing market. Don't want to spend any more time/money if I don't have to at this point. It really needs a 200 amp service being the whole house is electric, no gas. The current box is way undersized as it is if you do a load count...

Stupid dishwasher been acting up, less than two years old. Frigidaire. It fills with water but won’t wash, I figured the pressure pump was bad so I took it outside and the kids helped me get it off. I hooked the pump to power and it works. Wife is going to look at new ones. We had a Samsung before this one that lasted less than 7 years.
