What's a good replacement wheel bearing you guys are using?
Heard moog has gone to shit. I replaced both fronts last year with cheap autozone one thinking I was going to get rid of the truck soon. 1 has definitely gone bad

    SKF or Koyo

Napa sells SKF under their house brand.

I heard Moog is shit when it comes to LBJ. Now I'm paranoid. I usually have play and clicking that can't be felt with pliers on the balljoint.
So I shotgunned it and got all new ones.
And there might be some clicking again. I wouldn't be surprised if the Moog "heavy duty" I put in is a shit part that went bad after 2 weeks of use - because that's what everyone says they do
I was just dumb and didn't heed the warnings

hopefully their bearings are not as bad
OEM high quality bearings usually have brand names like FAG, SKF, Koyo, Timken, and so on.
    They also cost more.

If sourcing new bearings and re-using the hub, I hope it is not hard. Usually bearings are a matter of using a press, with tools, onto the correct metal races. aka nothing special, is common/easy, and is not rocket science

Damn. That reminds me. I think my combo is around 80lbs.
    55lb tire, 28lb wheel
I hope that doesn't stress the bearing. It' be cool if the engineers put an overbuilt heavy duty wheel bearing to handle truck use.
But they also designed a throwout bearing setup that breaks the transmission at 100k

Have 30K+ on the DuraGo bearing and hub, kit 29596058. They now sell the pieces pressed together, 29594446, that includes the bolts and seals. and only $25 more than the bearing/hub kit without the bolts and seals and not pressed in. They are holding up well thus far with several off-road trips in Nevada and Socal deserts.

I also have purchased through 05TACO on this forum. Pieces are high quality, price was right and everything showed up smoothly and fairly quickly.
