I can't compare a first Gen Tundra to a 3 gen Taco. 2 different beasties.
I do miss the Lexus Motor they put in that old Tundra. First 2 years they built Tundra's they used that motor.

Have a 2004 4Runner with the 2UZ-FE before they added in the VVT-i and electronic throttle control.
