What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed Taco Garage Pro grille, used the 3D printed bracket from Grant to mount the OEM front camera. Also added a Meso coin box but no pics!

 

Using techstream I was able to change that function on my Venza. I couldn't find anywhere to change it on the Taco using the same techstream. Like others I'd rather it defaulted to fresh air, and only use recirc when switched on.

Installed a @MESO 3rd brake light on my access cab. I opted for 2 amber chase lights that are tied to the amber backlight of the SSC2’s on my a-pillar. Thanks to @memario1214 for the lights!

Perhaps it would not start in recirc if the temperature differential were small enough. IDK, just a comparison. The logic used by the various vehicle manufactureres is beyond comprehension

 

Sounds like a paint issue...

 

First mod. Removed running boards. Pretty simple process. Six bolts hold each running board in place.

 

I have a ‘16 with the tech package, duel auto climate control, and I have not been able to figure out the recirc programming. Seems totally random to me. My last thought was that it was reading the outside temp, and if it was over a preset value, then the recirc would be turned on. I purchased mine used, and it came with a remote start system, so through the hot summer months I leave the AC turned on so I can cool the truck down a few minutes before I get to it. Sometimes it starts with the recirc on, and sometimes it starts with it off.

Once I programmed in a repeater I actually picked up one over 100 miles away. This radio is pretty bitchen!
I wanted it also to be easily removable for a base station if I wanted to. But I use Velcro on the carpet and it works great. That they will never move unless I remove it.
