Hedge funds --> brokerages --> DTCC/Prime brokerages --> .gov.

DTCC has enacted tons of rules in the last several months to absolve itself from financial liability. Luckily for the DTCC they're a "self regulated" entity..........Also a bunch of rules to stop naked short selling (which haven't been enforced).

Basically it's going to come down to how far does the .gov want to let this play out.

Either the GME holders become rich, or the entire system is fraudulent more-so than even the worse of the pessimists ever thought possible.

If we get to the point where they fuck me out of my GME investment, I'm cashing out everything I own, moving to the woods and living with both middle fingers up in the air. I took an asymmetrical bet, and if they don't let it play out in the "free market" then there's no market left as far as I'm concerned.

This. Literally this. It's an insanely asymmetrical bet with ALL of the math on the bullish side. That's why this isn't a "gamble" for me, at least from a numbers standpoint. From a system standpoint it is, and that's the worst part.

Can't tell if any shares were borrowed since it's 100k avail straight through. I'm not used to seeing them NOT borrow shares at 7:16 am.

The DOE insider trading story is crazy. Imagine having millions of dollars of a stock and saying that you have divested before appointment. Then being in charge of selecting which electronic vehicle companies your government would seek out to provide vehicles to replace gasoline vehicles. And then you just happen to select the company that you still have millions of dollars of stock in. Then after you select this company you “divest“ by selling your privately held shares to another private entity and do not disclose who the shares were sold too. Now imagine your second in command in your department does the same thing with an electric battery storage company....
Let’s also not forget about the $MSFT call contracts that a certain other member had. They’re all corrupt.
