I haven't seen one but my guess is no, they may not exist because a smoke detector is supposed to be attached to the ceiling for best performance but a CO detector is normally plugged in about 18 inches above ground level.

I've got one! I should probably buy a new one however. Our furnace had a cracked heat exchanger just last year and we had no idea--a routine furnace cleaning found it. It was only leaking a small amount of CO, so the detector never went off, but still, we got lucky. My eleven-year-old had been complaining of frequent headaches all of a sudden--he spends alot of time in the family room next to the room the furnace is in. After they found the problem with the furnace, I understood why!

Yesterday a man died in his home when a raccoon went down the chimney looking for shelter from the cold and died from CO poisoning. His body blocked the chimney and the house filled up with CO. The fire dept found levels in excess of 1100 parts per million. Anything over 8PPM is considered hazardous.
This just shows you that you can have a perfect running furnace and still die from CO.
PLEASE make sure you, your families, and your friends have detectors.

We may be on to something here. Recent studies reveal that the Meleagris Gallopavo is immune these gases. So that explains why it does not bother you because you are a fcuking Turkey.

You should change your diet to fruits and vegetable juices, no meats and sugars and less bird seed. :smack:

Prolonged exposure to CO is cumulative and causes brain damage in its early stages.......You've got nothing to worry about ND.
