Finally got the truck back home. Had it at my shop for a couple days while I checked it over. Had to take it to get emission tested today.. and found out my battery was dead in the process. Barely got it through emissions then took it to get a new battery. I get 3 years on the nose out of these Die Hard Gold AGMs. First 2 I warrantied.. but since the last one e years ago.. SEARS went under.. so had to buy a fresh one at full price this time from Advanced AutoParts. But ended up upgrading to the Platinum AGM this time with another 3 year warranty.

Truck drives pretty good! New wheel bearings are definitely noticeable. Just need to keep an eye on my steering rack. Got a little leak from the inner tie rod. But might be residuals from my swap.

Picking up wheels tomorrow and gonna start cutting the fenders this weekend!

Finished up trimming and painting the front fenders over the weekend. Need to find time to do the rears.. then maybe come up with some type of fender liner for both.

Custom tools for 2.5" out of the sheet metal and 2" out of the flare. Used a fine tooth metal blade with the jigsaw for the main cuts, grinder to clean up, and Dremel to do the detail work.

Reinstalled with new clips and added some edge trim to the flares..

    PXL_20210530_213517989.PORTRAIT.jpg

Then taped off everything really well and hit it all with Rust-Oleum Undercoat spray.

Waiting on the Wilwood kit.. which I have a feeling is gonna be a while.. So I have some time to finish this project up along with some little electrical stuff.

Waiting to mount wheels/tires until the Wilwoods come in because I'm a little princess and want all my shit new and fresh looking at the same time Damnit! Lol also I'm still unsure if I want to Powdercoat these wheels black or not before then..

Wilwood BBK wont ship from Manufacturer until July 9th-ish.

Going to take advantage of that and order the rear Coastal bumper in the meantime so I can get the truck up to @snowsk8air2 to burn it all together and make some slight adjustments. Hoping to get the new wheels powdercoated at the same time with the bumper, and possibly the front bumper as well after some modifications to it as well. Goal is to have the truck back at the house with everything done including the brakes, wheels, and tires around the end of July. That will leave just figuring out the Dual Battery/Solar setup before our trip to Portland in August. If I can, I'll start gathering parts and everything for that as well during the bumper build and waiting for the brakes.

Willwoods are on. just need to finish bleeding when my brake fluid shows up. Hoping to get the 35s mounted on the Summits this week.. and finally slap those on. Coastal Rear bumper arrived.. so that will be going on sometime soonish. Then final prep like sealing the bed, cutting down the Prinsu rack, etc for the camper before we get the call that its done!

Brake fluid showed up so I'll finish that up with my good buddy @Aw9d this weekend. (He's always my brake bleed buddy... Fo lyfe)

Dropped off 4 tires and wheels. Waiting to mount the 5th until the matching spare gets here. Scored a Blemish Summit Dakar from them directly.. it's just Bronze.. so I'll rattle can it gunmetal and it should be a perfect spare wheel for my non perfect 5th tire.

Hoping to get it on the ground and an alignment by the end of the weekend!
