I’ve been having issues with sloppy steering on my 2008. Suspension is in good shape, ball joints are good, tires and alignment are good. There is some slight play in one side that I think is the wheel bearing, I’ll be getting that replaced. Other things I’ve heard that can cause loose and jerky steering is the intermediate steering shaft and needle bearing. Anything else I should be looking at to try and fix this? I had been running spacers, took them off and they made the problem slightly better, but it’s very sloppy on anything but smooth paced game roads.

220k, suspension is all only a year old, including upper control arms. What I’ve found so far is the intermediate steering shaft definitely has play and needs replaced.
