OK guys, I'm considering trading up to a 2021 TRD Access Cab Sport from a 2017 TRD Off Road Access Cab and am trying to see if the juice is worth the squeeze. For the trade, they are giving me close to what I paid for it 3 years ago...can't complain about that, and am looking at basically the same car in the Sport model. Main difference is my current ride has 52,000 miles vs 0 for the new one.

All total, between taxes, tags, cost for that new car smell will set me about about $12K...

Wife says do what I want...I should go out and buy a new boat! :) But I'm looking to hold onto this for 10-15 years and take me into retirement...

So, pros: Everything is new with warranty...basically the same as what I have...better navigational system...

    vs.

Cons: Current ride is paid for...not issues at all besides a simple recall...warranty has expired but don't think I'll have any issues...

    So, what's your take?

    Thanks for the advice...

I'd keep what you have. Paying 12k for something with only 50k miles less doesn't seem like it's worth it to me

Totally personal preference for you. If you go for it your payments will be tiny all things considered.

When the wife says “do what you want” that usually means “No!” At least where I’m from it does.
