What long travel options do I have without a bed gage? I have a camper shall (cap) so I don't really want holes in the bed.

Whats the best route I could take on the rear suspension? What will I be missing?

"Long travel" only would be SUA with leaves. You could do a SOA pack with better weight handling and still get improved down travel. For more up travel again you'd need SUA. You'll miss some of it with shocks in the wheel well and not cutting the bed, but JD fab has some good up travel without cutting the bed. The only option to get full articulation is cantilever which RJFab on IG makes a nice kit for 2nd / 3rd gens and Lsk makes for 1st gens - what year truck do you have?

The JD kit still has you cut the bed.

Yes. His mounts are flat against the frame and not angled outboard like archive mounts. You can see the cut in this picture.

Ah so it’s cutting the support but not breaking into the bed area it looks like - in the first gen world anyone that says they don’t want to cut the bed is only referring to penetrating the bed for longer shocks to poke through.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
the top of the JD towers require cutting the bed. there's also a cross bar option to tie it together.

note, this is double cab short bed. Access cabs and long beds are different and the bar will be more in the middle of the bed.
