if you pay for mods with cash, your wife can't see them on paper. She has no idea the cost and in some cases, no idea of the mod itself. it's financially smarter to pay the cash in many ways, also life smart to keep these mods under the wife RADAR.

This is true. 9/10 times she wont even notice a new mod when there’s no paper trail

After all of the advice from illiterate financial geniuses, I figured that this thread couldn’t get any more entertaining, but in comes the group who are afraid of their wives. Y’all are wild.

My Wife after one mod she would ask “So what’s next “? Been together since we were 19. She knows what I’m going to do before I do it LOL.

Not stupid for sure. There’s no way to hide a diamondback cover. But, my girl has never noticed when another gun has appeared in the safe

I don't have any money, but when I get the stimilant money, I am getting 2 bottles of Don Julio 1942 and then maybe spending the rest on a new bumper. $1400 can go a long way if you stretch it out.

Basically anything under a $1k is paid outright, which is what I've done so far. Anything more than that and I would either charge it or break it down into phases.

According to the law, the bank has no right to prevent the client from repaying the debt before the deadline set by the contract. However, the borrower is obliged to notify the financial institution in writing about the desire to repay the loan in advance. The term of the application depends on the conditions of each bank, on average - one month.
Early repayment of the loan is possible in part or in full. This reduces the amount of your overpayments, but there are a number of nuances to be considered. Interest accrued by the bank is recalculated only on the balance of the debt repayment. Read more about this here - yhdistalaina.com. Therefore, it is important to warn the financial institution of your desire to repay the loan early so that the payments can be adjusted.
The loan consists of the following parts: principal, interest on the loan, penalties on overdue payments, and insurance fees. First, the customer pays the loan usage fee and penalties, if any. Last, the principal is repaid.

I buy most all "mods" (shocks/bumpers...) used as they are generally made from metal. Assuming they have not seen some catastrophic event like being bent I just rebuild or clean off surface corrosion and pain it. Shock oil & seals are relatively cheap. Used bumpers , skid plates or sliders are also generally good to go cuz.. well look at them.

For electric/electronic things, new is best. Also if there is some amazing sale for new parts why not. Or if you are too impatient and get sick and tired of browsing "classifieds" all day then you gotta cave-in a buy new lol.

Of course use credit card to get cash back where possible.

    I don't know dude.

In general , it's nice having balance in your life. Like if my wife let me do what ever, I'd probably be intoxicated most nights with my girlfriends , as we launch a Polaris over a 10foot tall bonfire. Checks and balances is all I'm sayin...

I pay cash for most mods. If I don't pay cash I use something like PayPal credit and take a no interest offer then pay it off in a month or so. No new item on the account until it's paid off.

Cash, Venmo, PayPal. Especially if it’s something that doesn’t work out for you after you’ve got it and you’re making payments on it.
