Well my story ... Owned 4runners for a long time handed them down to my kids so in the effort to save a few bucks I bought a 2020 frontier Pro4 (big mistake) 100 miles on it.... Went up up in the hills here in beautiful Colorado (fishing) found a dirt road to take a gander up and all was well, so I thought ! not a 4x4 trail but a little bumpy, made it to the top and was coming back down and there is when all my problems started, this frontier sounded like the windshield was falling out the noise was like nothing I had heard and the glass in the drivers door sounded like it was hitting metal.... So very disappointed at this point, made it home with one thing on my mind how do I dump a new frontier with only 4,000 miles on it..... Well thank you KBB they hooked my up with a deal that paid me 2 grand over what I paid for the truck... Now the search was on to get back to Toyota !!! Looked at 4runners/FJ/Tacoma's many (90%) had been in accidents, and that figures as to the way they drive here... Was looking for about 4 days when I found a private owner selling a 2017 TRD Tacoma 6" bed new shell and was able to save a few bucks. So the moral of the story I will never buy anything but a Toy...
