I've seen some youtube videos suggesting reverse bleeding with a Pheonix System tool. Anyone try those or have any other suggestions?

Find a stretch of land where you can make repeated hard stops. Hard enough to activate the ABS system. Do it a few times, then bleed the brakes.

On my 2015, I neglected the brake system. Assploded it all. Came to a traffic light about 1KM from my work, and all of a sudden the truck did not want to stop, then all the lights on the dash started flashing and beeping about ABS and such. Entire brake system was empty when I managed to limp it into the yard at work.

The solution for me was to follow the Toyota service manual for correcting everything to do with the brakes system.

    http://www.ttguide.net/brake_fluid_for_hydraulic_brake_booster_-473.html

Step 4 of the above manual was the solution.

Working through it until we go to step 4, then using Techstream to run the 'Active Test'.

Find the service manual for your year of rig, and follow it.
