Off road or sport

The same driver in both vehicles will go further in the one with more off road driving aides. I really don't believe that is in doubt and feel like I am being trolled at this point lol.

Any Taco is very capable off road, but certain situations sometimes require additional advantages.

 

Well maybe like a few more feet further but that’s about it.

Ive been off-road many times with open diffs and never has any issues. No rock crawling of course, just washouts, forest trails, creeks etc. 3 gens have E LSD on front and rear diffs.

Even my archaic ranger was a beast in 4lo with open diffs. Did have mechanical LSD in the rear though.

 

I'm so sorry to hear you regret your choice which limits you to fishing in spots with Subarus and the like, must be crowded. There are some really great places to fish in Michigan if you get an off road capable vehicle.

The good news is that trade in values are at an all time high, and there appears to be no shortage of people who don't do their research and get distracted by hood skewps so I'm sure you could get a decent amount on a trade in to upgrade into an Off Road.

 

I hear ya, I was looking forward to disappointing everyone who thought this shit would actually drag out to Friday, but they keep on coming. It's like they're just jumping out and landing in my boat to keep the fishing theme going.

I ended up getting the TRD off road and I love it!! Just ordered a magnuson supercharger for it. Can't wait for it to come in and have it installed!

Well everyone knows it’s illegal to drive a sport off-road and off-road on the streets!! Hahaha! Both are sick trucks and I agree with what you have been saying just buy one and drive it and love it! Either will get you where you want! Most people buy what’s available and do the same thing the other would have! I’ve seen guys in sports and SR out wheel pros! Enjoy it the badge on the front is what matters over the sticker on the side of the box.

Thanks! They are forsure a good idea if you are planning to jump off the pavement for anyone! The rock I bumped would have cost me a lot more than the sliders did if I had dragged across the side of the truck lol!! Next for me is a front bumper. I love the honey badger but want to try to look local before I order. I will happily pay a little more to support a local and keep them going!

Yeah, the shipping, conversion and the duties are the killer though... I too want some kind of steel or aluminum front bumper.

Yes they are bolt on. If you do the basic holes the truck comes with the sliders will hold 3/4 the vehicles weight. If you drill 2 holes a side (which I did) you can jack the truck off them lol! Jason is a good guy just busy! Well worth it! Can’t wait to see them on your ride!
