I’m 6’ , interested in doing the below seat air compressor set up. Do you think these will make the seat too high? Why do they not work for you?

 

I think you’d sit too high. I’m 5’10” and for me I didn’t like my line of view as my eye level was right about the top of the windshield almost

 

Just did the under the seat air compressor mod from Desert Does It two weeks back. Don't know about the ARB, but the Viair barely fits with these installed. You'll need something this size bare minimum.

 

Good to know- I think I will relocate or maybe jack passenger seat

 

When I say barely fit, I should be more clear. The cooling fins are a bit close to the nylon connectors under the seat and it just so happens that's where my better half likes the seat. DDI includes enough zip ties to get wires out of the way and I really think the connectors will be fine as long as I'm not airing up the entire convoy.

I have these under my drivers seat. I am 6’ and think they do put the seat at a better angle. They aren’t life changing like some claim but overall I think they are worth it if you can find a deal. I bought mine from a guy on here as well.

I did not do the compressor mount.
