Thought I would post some photos of my homemade roof rack that sort of gets away from the "Raptor" theme. Very heavy duty and designed to fit my basket which I am still refinishing to match. 1 X 1 box tube construction to the factory mounting points on Azek Deck material under the feet. Used 3M Marine Adhesive to seal the threads proper. Lots of cargo room now. Will add a picture when basket is done. Regards Scott

All douible cabs have holes from the factory under the weather stripping. All access cabs will have to have rivnuts put in by the owner/shop.

Dang nice work, you could even knock another 2" off the vertical corners and have it sit almost flush with the roof! I need to get into welding :/

You still gotta drill your roof and install Rivnuts for an Access Cab because there aren't any bolt holes from the factory. Victory 4x4 very conveniently doesn't have AC install instructions on their website outlining how much more work it is than a DC.

My bad, I totally misread and thought you were recommending the Victory as a no drill alternative but really you were the first to mention rivnuts.

All good. I probably should have added "If you decide to have rivnuts installed....."

Nice job, I was trying to figure out how you got it to sit so low in the back with the shark fin antenna and middle cross bar. Looks like you ended the rack right in front of it. Great job, how long did that take?

Hi It sits about 1" over the rear fin and I did focus to stay in the front of it. I sized it for a basket that I had from another truck. It took about 5 total hours and a good friend did the powder coat. Thanks Scott

Yes - That will pretty much disappear once the basket is mounted. Just haven't got around to it yet. But, I for sure need the extra storage that it will provide. Just not a "Raptor" kind of guy.

Basket completed. Very little wind noise, and this will totally fulfill my needs with a definite weight overkill.
