    Hi All ,

Hoping someone is able to assist me with the problem I’m having with the front passenger side wheel . I bought 2018 Tacoma off Co part Auction has a slide gaze but looks like there was some suspension damage . Any help would be much appriciated. Attached show the damage upper control arm looks bent

I'm just gonna go ahead and be "that guy" and say that if you don't know the basics of getting the alignment checked then maybe you shouldn't have bought a wrecked rig.

Could be an number of things from damage. Start with an alignment. If it doesn't align, check for bent LCAs, knuckles, tie rods, busted up ball joints, etc. etc.

I'm guessing it went to CoPart for more than alignment and some body panels. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a CoPart flip vehicle with a bent frame

I'm thinking OP can just drive it really hard into a curb to bend it back.

Yeah you know that might work. Not everyone has the proper "Alignment un f'ing tool"

Do you have any idea what the damage really is to the vehicle before you bought it? What made you buy this? Was it a salvaged total loss vehicle you bought?

It may need a frame and no amount of suspension will fix it if the frame is damaged where the suspension mounts.

Pulling the wheels off would help a lot. With it being that far “bent”, I’m going to say the problem will be fairly apparent.

Clearly the passenger side has aggressive negative camber due to the accident. In the other photos it’s also very evident the truck has an apparent toe out situation going on.

If you’re stripping it for parts it could be worth it, if you’re attempting to fix it and drive it you may be in over your head, skills wise and financially.

I had a 99’ Ranger and it had only been in a very minor accident and I still fought that truck for the couple of years I owned it. In my opinion it’s not worth the risk, but maybe I just like to play it safe.

Good luck with your Taco endeavors either way OP!!

Totaled rig from copart has far more than just some suspension damage. Judging by the driver front alone I'd guess your fucked in a major way.

Take it to a lazer frame repair shop and see what they say before you waste any money .
