How long did you wait for the 2nd key or fob?

I’m 2-months out from purchase and am still waiting for the 2nd remote key (MT).
Spoke to my salesperson last week who reached out to his Toyota rep, but still no answer.

 

Didn't have to wait - came with the truck
Took it home in early December 2020.

 

Truth be told, from what I've read elsewhere, the chip shortage could be a year or more before it's resolved. Pretty much all manufacturers are affected, especially Ford, where they have thousands of trucks parked they can't sell, and their line in Louisville shut down. Toyota did it smart by only issuing one FOB. It will probably come down to what chip stash they have, but realistically could be awhile.
