I imagine puckering for sure, but I've only seen the trail on Youboob. If you think I can handle it without damage, I'm in.
You would be the ultimate guide as far as I'm concerned. I better get this garage dialed pronto.

Be careful....some ultimate guides get drunk, get their feelings hurt then throw hands around the campfire.

edit: I thought of this one all by myself

Looks like a fun trip! Catch anything?

I was in the Sierras for fathers day and again for the 4th, casting lures day after day, and have yet to figure out anything that works. But it's always fun trying, and plenty else to do up there.

Min-jigs. Shameless plug for my buddy Jared at Parchers Resort out of South Lake. I fish them 94% of the time and catch fish 90% of the time.

Fridonna. Kahlo died in 1954 at 47. Not quite the style at the time.

We caught 4 trout at Convict from the shore. Carolina rig on salmon eggs with some stinky stuff rubbed on. We tried to land them right before the drop-off. Then sit back at wait. The other lakes we didn't have good luck. Crowley was like a washing machine on the boat. Way too windy.

My son learned the virtue of patience on this trip. Usually he's wanting to cast all day and doesn't have much luck. And he got some reading in...

One of the cool things about the 395 corridor is all the history out there, and the abandoned structures from a forgotten age. I wonder what life was like way back then...

Instead of sifting through gravel for purple glass we can look for blue lights…

So, in researching a future trip, I stumbled on this photo that someone had pinned to their pinterest. That means there's no real info about it except for the note they'd left on it, along the lines of beinga shot of the Sierra's (obviously from the east, perhaps from the White Mountains). And an implication (perhaps) that it was accessed from Nevada? Anyone recognize the angle and can help me with an ID? PM is totally fine, and I'm happy to not mention locations in any write-up if I find it.
