I know this is a long shot but here we go. I'm staying in garner, north carolina, while I was driving today in Wilmington my clutch bearing went out. I forced gears the whole 2.5 hours back to my airbnb. I leave Friday to go back home
If I were to find the bearing is there anyone local that would be able to help me get out of my bind? I have cash but I know a shop will bend me over if I ask to have it done by Friday.

@Sandman614, anybody near Garner? I am transitioning garages right now. I am not very helpful at the moment.

I've not been into a Toyota gearbox, don't have garage space. Best i could do is lend a jack and some hand tools. @Taco_life Whatcha think?

How do you know the bearing is bad?

Couple things I would look at...whats your clutch pedal doing (does it stay down by itself when you press it)? Is there fluid in your reservoir? Any leaks coming from the transmission or near the clutch pedal? Did you try adjusting the clutch master cylinder rod that contacts the clutch pedal?
