I am rough on my rear bumpers. Had Sequoia for 12 years and went through several, I would just order the flat black plastic bumper and replace it.

I already cracked and dented my Taco stock bumper. I would like to replace it with something sturdy & lightweight (it is a stock truck). I do not want to start replacing the plastic parts again.

There are several bumpers that I like but 100 pounds seems too heavy for a stock taco.

I can do a little bit of fabricating and create a good bumper but it certainly would not look good.

Ours has the rear Parking Sensor Sonar alerts in the plastic rear bumper, so I'm assuming that if I change the bumper to an aftermarket Bumper, that the sensors can be installed again???
Anyone else been down that road!

Depends how hard you're hitting stuff. Will the bumper to give, every time u hit shit, or will it be hard enough to transfer the crash to the frame and fuck other, more expensive shit up?

Check out @Dissent86 rear aluminum bumper caps. Those are lightweight and will probably stand up to a lot more abuse.
