My DIY 2 Foot Slide Out Extension - full post coming soon

Hey Everyone,


My name is Brian. I've been living in my 2005 tacoma since 2015 full-time with my furry sidekick, Sierra. I plan to post up a full thread soon about the DIY extension I made almost 4 years ago (fall of 2017). This was originally going to be a prototype for a few weeks as I planned to make a fiberglass version. However, once I got back on the road after building this I just kept going. Almost 4 years later and it's still working well, I just need to do some minor upgrades to it this summer which I'll document here once those are installed.


I look forward to being a part of the community here on Tacoma World, been meaning to join for a while. I also try to make sure and wave to all the Toyotas I see out on trails so if you see me then please be sure to say hello. I'm usually solo with my dog so we have all the time in the world to stop off and chat a bit.

Alright, the sun is coming up here at camp so I am going to jump out of my topper and make some breakfast. Have a great start to the day!
