Hey everyone, I'm new here and this is my first taco. I have a 2013 pre-runner 2wd. I use it for work. I have a camper shell on it. I don't carry a ton of stuff but there is a tiny bit of sag. Is there any dakars, add a leaf, heavy duty shocks, for 2wd? I just want to raise it a little and increase the payload a bit. Thanks!

I'm thinking you could run an AAL and be good.

An AAL will raise your truck up to 2" depending on the condition of the existing leaf springs on your truck. With a cap and some stuff in the bed your ride shouldn't be compromised that much by adding an AAL. Then there's SumoSprings, air bags or Roadmater Active Suspension System (RAS) as other options. AAL's are a pretty inexpensive way to see if they give you the results you're looking for. SumoSprings will stop the sag, again without compromising the ride and once installed there's no worry or maintenance. Air bags can be inflated or deflated depending on your load, but require a little more with install and possible maintenance issues afterwards. RAS may raise the rear end by 1/2", reduce most of the sag while eliminating axle wrap and improve overall handling. Here again, once installed RAS requires no further maintenance.

Most will say ditch the OEM leaf pack and go with Dobinsons or Deavers. I hear the OEM Dakars squeak. Plenty of threads on replacement leaf packs. Bottom line is how much dinero, mula or cash you're willing to plop down.
