Uptop chop and dig mount

Hey there, I've got the bravo rack from uptop and I was looking at the chop and dig brackets however I can't seem to find an image of how they mount. Does it mount to the top of the rack or is there a way to mount it to the sides of the rack? I'd like to keep the top of the rack fairly open for other gear, so I'd like to mount them on the sides if possible...does anyone have any pictures or information? Thanks
