Gas gage on dash shows empty

    This ain’t an uncommon occurrence. It’s easier post a link, than to keep posting the same diag steps over and over.

    By now, a lot of guys have figured out, I personally link to other posts.
    Mostly because I don’t own a computer, and typing on a phone and tablet takes for ever.

    I see, I thought it was OP that figured it out.
    I guess I need to make myself useful here.

    I’ll add this in hopes it helps.
    It beats fooling around on top of the tank. And might be easier to get to.


    Find the the ID2 connector.

    Then do as @Dm93 said to diagnose the sending unit.
    Use pins 2(Orange wire) and 5 (Yellow/Black)
