i knew I was going to be when I installed these. Just didn’t realize how bad.

ended up very near 1.5”/1” of preload at the end (taco lean on my truck is intense) at 3” of lift. I might drop it down some though.

I would say that’s about right, considering third gen front ends are heavier.

Adding this to the list of things to do at some point, likely when the weather cools down. Won't cost me anything other than time since I have steel on hand. It just reinforces the crumple zone at the front of the frame.

That's the radiator core support mount, looks factory with a little extra plate added.

Sweet! I have gotten a bunch of good stuff of Amazon warehouse recently. Everything I got was brand new with tags and near 40-50% off new prices.

Amazon is so good that even if it’s not exactly how you want, you can just return it. It’s well worth the time and effort in my opinion since there’s no risk.

I ordered some +2 fiberglass fenders from McNeil at the beginning of June in prep for the LT install. Total cost was $670. I had asked them a few questions via email and they were always responsive.

After I installed my LT, I decided I didn’t want the fenders anymore. This was about 3 weeks after purchase. I emailed to ask about their cancellation policy and they said full refund minus 20% for a restocking fee since the fenders were built and were gonna ship out later that week. I agreed to that, and they said they’d cancel my order.

9 days go by with no word, so I email them to ask when they’ll process my cancellation.

Another week goes by with no word. I’m not going to beg for my money back, so I do a dispute through Amex. A week later, Amex concludes the investigation in my favor and gives me my full $670 back.

During this time, I never heard from McNeil, and I know they were notified by Amex.

This isn’t necessarily a buyer beware, as McNeil is a well established company. But they dropped the ball and I wanted to share my experience.

Honestly......this is a very appropriate post. This is play ny play honest review that is informative and not trying to bash a company because of your experience. A lot of people on the internet in general should learn from this.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I did my best to make it clear and concise and leave emotion out of it. And to be honest, it never made me that upset to begin with. Shit happens, people aren't perfect, and there's always recourse through the credit card company. This is why I buy everything with a credit card and pay it off in full each month.

Not to mention it brought me a little satisfaction that they missed out on that 20% restocking fee I would've happily paid.
