Man... this is the place where threads come to die. Doesn't seem like there's a big following for "off-roading" in FL, it's too bad. Not in any of those counties, but have you looked into "Area-51", or the Citrus area trails near Ocala National Forest? Some of the wildlife management areas have driveable trails - fire roads. Lots of that powdery sugar sand, and the white limestone gravel roads. That stuff gets EVERYWHERE, you'll still be finding talcum-powder dust after 3-4 washes. Good places to look for named trails is GAIA maps, or try trailsoffroad.com. That site requires a membership, but has plenty of free stuff with just an email sign-up. Last resort would be any if the local Jeep clubs. Just be warned, it seems all those guys are interested inis seeing how deep they can bury Jeeps in mud, and how fast they can cause the most amount of damage to their rigs. Went out with 2 Jeep clubs. No thanks. GOOD LUCK!

@Paulndot pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Not much 'F'roadin' to be done in FLA all we got's is sand and swamp, no dunes, hell, no hills even, like SoCal NM and AZ, and as someone who's done it nobody likes taking their truck skinny pedal dipping in the swamp.

There's two events "the Fall Citrus Tacoma meet" and the "spring citrus tacoma meet" and that's about it.

Anything else organized is rare and spontaneous it seems I'm always down to go when I can, as are a number of folks but it just never seems to happen. (tag me though!)

We should do another Hard Rock OHV trip though.

    :bananadead:

When I wanna 'F'road I usually drive up to see the guys in Albam, GA, and Sweet Tennessee.

    They got's the interstin' dirts.

Even seen some rocks out there.

    Big ones.

    Got snow on top.

Some wacky indian name for them big rocks like that they gots up there but "mountain" just doesn't translate into Floridian.

    :notsure:
