RIP Greg Knapp

    gk - 6.jpg gn- 5.jpg gk- 2.jpg gk-4.jpg Greg F. Knapp, Born:3-5-63,Long Beach CA., Died:7-22-21, in Walnut Creek CA. He passed away from injuries received in a cycling accident. A fixture on coaching staffs in the NFL for 25 years, serving as quarterback coach or offensive coodinator for some of the leagues best known passing attacks including:The New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans and the San Francisco 49ers. He played Quarterback, then Coached at CAL State University Sacramento CA. Knapp 58, an avid cyclist, was riding his bike in San Ramon in Northern CA. Sat, 7/17/21 when a motorist swerved into the bike lane. He never regained consciousness and died Thur. 7/22/21 surrounded by his Wife, his three Daughters, his Mother and his Brother.
