I have a pair of DD SS3 Max fogs coming and I intend on using the included DD adapter harness to plug directly in to my stock fog/light harness.

The OEM halogen fogs for 2020 off roads use a H16 19 watt bulb. The fuse for the fog circuit is 15 amps. I think 2019 fogs used H11 bulbs. Not sure if thicker gauge wires were used for the fogs in 2019 running H11s.

The DD SS3 max fogs are rated at 38.5 watts as per DD website.

This is double the wattage of H16 bulbs…the fuse for the fog circuit is not an issue but I am concerned about the gauge of the fog wiring for the stock 2020 fog/light harness…if the wires will be fine for the increase in current.

Anyone have any input on this? A non issue? Or issue?

I have included a pic of the factory fog wiring at the plug…currently running OEM led fogsA07A5CE7-E964-4AE7-A4AC-8114A8430891.jpg
