Hi folks. I had this over in the "overhead console issue" thread, but it seemed more appropriate to post this on its own. Anyway, my resistors seem to be solidly mounted, but one is missing the "510" label. Does that mean the thing is shot? Or something?

The failure mode is cracked solder joints on the resistors, not the resistors themselves. The cracks are very fine and difficult to see without magnification. Reflowing the solder eliminates the cracks and restores current flow. The missing 510 isn't important, the chip is just upside down.
