Upgraded my set-up with the Exped Megamat10. Up until this point I've used lounge chair cushions so this is a huge upgrade. Like going from, well lounge chair cushions to a tempurpedic.

Mine is 30x60 and that's about the biggest I felt I could get away with. Might be able to go a bit wider, but definitely maxed out length

I don't know what that is. This is adhesive backed boat deck foam, to keep stuff from sliding around

Has anyone built a simple platform with 80/20 like most build with the simple wood style, no roll out drawers?

kind of like wyckedan’s metal frame without anything underneath but made out of 80/20!

Basic 2x8 braces and 3/4” plywood platform. I did add thin furring strip on underside of each plywood piece to ease sliding in and out and also cover the staples. This is version 1.0.

As I start working my way through this thread from the beginning I have some Qs!

Biggest being: is anyone using a diesel heater? I'm sure there are some post in here that I'll get to but 137 pages is going to take some time.
I've spoken with a couple members in the past that had installed them but that has been ages ago and I don't remember who they were.

I usually do a search for "diesel heater", get a lot of info that way. I also just saw this in a solar panel thread:

    Solar panel install

How do you do a refined/more targeted search? When I use the search bar or Google for whatever I'm looking up and add "tacomaworld" I only ever get one or two returns

Did you build this at the height so that your flappy flaps are supported by the wheel wells/ the plastic edge that runs on either side? do your flappy flaps flap up and down and make a lot of noise?
