Been out of town for two weeks with work and the pool is a now a pond. @Bannerman have you had to clean your salt generator cell yet? My indicator light is flashing. Think it’s time to clean but you have to use muratic acid, doesn’t sound fun. So I poured a bourbon instead.

I cleaned mine in spring, it was pretty clean, hardly any scale. Be careful with that Muratic Acid…

I bought a little stand that holds the generator up so you can fill it with acid, makes it easier to soak. You can DIY one with some PVC though.

    That said, bourbon fixes everything.

Took the truck and the kids to Pisgah Ranger District this weekend for some camping. We had a blast but it took us a while to find a campsite. All of the spots I had marked on my paper map were occupied. I spend 30-45 minutes exploring other areas of the park that I did not have a map for with no cell service!

I have been looking at Gaia for a while and am now playing around with it. Does anyone have experience using it? If so, where do you find maps to upload?DSC_0856.jpg

I use gaia. You download any map you might need before you off line. With the prem subscription there are a ton of overlays for just about anything you need.

There's OpenStreetMaps (OSM) which is free and works great
