OEM tapered leaf spring shim question

2018 Cement Off Road V6 Access cab

I noticed that my 2018 Tacoma Access Cab Off Road has tapered leaf spring shims installed from the factory. I will be installing 2" tapered blocks shortly, in conjunction with my TRD lift. Should I remove the OEM tapered leaf spring shims since the blocks are tapered?

Or should I just get squared up regular lift blocks in lieu of the tapered ones and keep the factory tapered shims installed?
