OK, It's NOT a big deal, but I've been wondering just what Toyota is doing/thinking with placing 2 different style "bezels" around our fog lights.... There seem to be 1 STRAIGHT sided and 1 ANGLED sided...
The straight sided ones seem to be mainly USA and the "angled" ones are CDN...!!
I'm really curious why Toyota would go to the trouble of making 2 different designs..(that are NOT all that different)... (what are they doing here..?)

Here's the Straight-sided model... From a very nice Texan truck.... NOTE the inside of the fog light bezel..! Straight up and down...!

Here's the "angled" version that Canada seem to get....

DSCN1070.jpg Like, why would Toyota do this..? It costs them more $ to make 2 models than 1..!

I have looked thru TW for a while and I cannot find a US truck other than 1 SR5 that has the angled version...

Checked all CDN ones I've seen .... No straight ones... !! What gives..?

As William Shatner would say...WIERD OR WHAT......!!

One of the great mysteries of the 21st century..??

Here in the US the SR5's come with the angled style bezel while the others come with the straight style (also add in the Limited with the chrome trim on the bezel). No idea why and I actually like the SR5 type better.

my 2021 has angled bezels and my previous 2019 had straight bezels. both trd offroad 4x4. USA

I am also trying to figure out the meaning behind the differences as i have seen a 2017 trd offroad with angled bezels, there seems to be no consistency

upon further research it appears that one bezel offers a wider angle of flood than the other
