I recently had a 3” Rough Country lift kit professionally installed. The kit came with 3” spacers in the front and 2” in the rear. After the kit was installed, I’ve been hearing a clunk going over bumps. I finally found out that the UCAs are rubbing very bad on the springs (see pic). This got me wondering if the front struts on my Tacoma are not stock. The front does sit higher than rear but I attributed that to my camper shell. Can anyone tell from the pictures of the bilisteins on my truck are stock?

The front stock Bilstein shocks are normally yellow in color.

Yeah I think the stock Bilstein's are yellow. At least on my brothers old 02 tundra and my dad's 17 tundra

I was able to get a picture of the backside of the shocks and see they are 5100s which I think are not stock but I do think are adjustable. I am hoping I can dial them back down and avoid these issues. Unfortunately this means a realignment. Any threads on how to adjust the 5100s?

It would ride better if you took the spacers off and turn the 5100s up. Get some coil spring compressors and move the snap ring up or down. Make sure the coils are stock or not first though. If the coils are aftermarket I wouldn’t go past the the second notch

I see the c clip is set to the third notch up (2” setting). I agree that I should uninstall the spacer and should set the c clip up to the 2.5” height. I had a diff drop installed for the 3” RC kit, should I leave those in with the 5100s set to 2.5”? I thought the front sat higher, just didn’t think it was almost 2” higher
